Get Me NBN has landed on the web.

Get Me NBN is now on the web. Over the coming weeks and months you will see some great articles about the nbn™ and the roll out across Australia. We’ll have some great recommendations on how to get nbn™and get connected with a good nbn™ Plan.

There are a number of nbn™ Providers in Australia and we will be comparing what nbn™ plans they have so that you can make an informed decision when selecting your nbn™ Provider.

The new nbn™ Broadband network is replacing the traditional copper network in Australia to provide fast Internet to every Australian. Currently (2015) the nbn™ is being rolled out using a mixed technology format. This means that the Internet is delivered using a variety of methods. These include:

  • FTTP – Fibre to the premises
  • FTTN – Fibre to the node (initial FTTN sites planned for late 2015).
  • FTTB – Fibre to the basement
  • HFC – Hybrid fibre coaxial
  • Fixed wireless
  • Satellite
